I personally don’t like the word diet I feel it mentally creates restriction before you’ve even started.
A diet suggests putting a limit on the food you eat to lose weight.
As we know ‘diets’ aren’t always about losing weight.
You may ‘diet’ in order to gain more energy after feeling sluggish or if you suffer with bloating.
Let’s rewrite our journey to feeling and happy and healthy and start by rephrasing the term diet.
Whether you call it healthy eating, a nutritional plan or eating to live do it so it benefits you and is not typically restricting.
It doesn’t have to be about cutting out all your favourite foods, for example cheese is a good source of protein and can aid your healthy eating journey by keeping you fuller and giving you vital nutrients.
